This region offers spectacular views, untouched natural splendor and wild and friendly inhabitations. The Ganesh Himal is named after the elephant-headed God of Good Fortune. The Ganesh Himal can clearly be seen from Kathmandu Valley. The Ganesh Range Peaks (Ganesh I, Ganesh II, Ganesh III, Ganesh IV) stand out like crystal that is the "Great Himalayan Chain" forming the skyline. This great Himalayan massif is contained between the valley of the Buri Gandaki in the west and Bhote Koshi in the east, which becomes Trishuli Khola in the lower section.

Within 12 days trip, we observe the many different ways of life, culture and come in contact with the people in the small village, passing through the dense forestations and meadows. We cross through high Shing-La Pass, which offers an excellent view of the massif Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Annapurna, etc. On the last day of the trip we take a bus ride back to Kathmandu or Pokhara or Chitwan from Dhading Bensi where we spend the final night of our trip.

Facts of the Trek |
|
Note: During adventure trek (Camp or lodge treks) within Nepal Himalayas, weather, local politics, transport or a multitude of other factors beyond our control can result in a change of itinerary. It is, however, very unlikely that the itinerary would be substantially altered; if alterations are necessary the trekking guide / leader will decide what is the best alternative, taking into consideration the best interests of the whole group. Where a change does occur, we do everything we can to minimize its effect, but we cannot be responsible for the results of changes or delays. |
