Everest Panorama trek is comparatively easy to some of other trek from Khumbu Region. For those who have limited time and want a view of Everest anyway, Everest Panaroma trek is idyllic trekking option.
Kongma La Pass 18,159ft / 5,535m, Cho La Pass 17,782ft / 5,420m, Renjo La Pass 17,929ft / 5,465m: The trek through Nepal’s ‘Three Passes’ takes in some of the most exciting and picturesque scenery in the Himalaya. The landscape is varied and spectacular; the lodgings and tracks range from the time-worn paths of the Khumbu, to the isolated and less frequented Renjo Pass region.
Tengbuche Monastries is the largest and most actives monastry in Khumbu region, but it is not the oldest. Sherpas believe that Buddihism was introduced into Khumbu towards the end of the 17th century by LAMA Sange Dorje, the fifth of the reincarnate Lamas of the Rongbuk or Rong-phu monastry in Tibet, to the north of Mt. Everest.
A challenging, 'best of the Everest region' journey through some of the most spectacular landscapes in the Himalaya with guides who spend all their time in the Himalaya; our trek is a window into traditional Sherpa villages and 'gompas' (monasteries), their mountain Buddhist culture and their sacred peaks and valley. From Katmandu you will fly to Lukla and follow the classic Everest trail through Namche Bazaar, Tyangboche and Dingboche to the Kongma La pass surrounded by dramatic views of Ama Dablam, Makalu and the Lhotse , Nuptse face.
